Academic Life

Academic Life at San Antonio Female College was markedly different from that at Trinity University today. One significant example of the differences between San Antonio Female College and Trinity University is the number of students in each course: in 1893, students often took classes at SAFC with well over 100 other students in the same room. Today, Trinity classes work on a much more intimate level, generally with no more than 30 students in a lower division course and sometimes as few as 8 students in an upper division course.
